The vineyards that produce the grapes for the production of Valpolicella Classico wine are located in Fumane, the Allegrini Farm headquarters.
It is a small but important centre of the Valpolicella Classica area, with a total of 243 hectares registered in the roll of vineyards and an annual production of some 2,500,000 litres.
Some of these vineyards also produce grapes for the production of Amarone and Recioto. They are all hillside vineyards, lying between 180 and 280 m a.s.l., with fine exposure to the sun, suitable to achieve the objectives that the company has set for themselves.
The traditional arbour method of planting is used, with a density of about 3,000 vines per hectare. The terrain is of quite varied composition, mostly cretaceous and calcareous.
