The Allegrini company may be considered the result of the intelligence and hard work of Giovanni Allegrini, a straightforward and spontaneous man who gave rise to a solid, efficient and innovative agricultural enterprise.

On the occasion of the celebrations for the 150^th anniversary of the Unification of Italy, we have chosen to 'dress' this renowned cru, produced from the historic and tradition-steeped parcel of land of the same name, with the colours of the Italian flag. Green, white and... a great Red come together to celebrate an historic birthday!
Apart from the renewed graphics, La Grola 2008 also stands out for its quality, derived from the careful viticultural practises undertaken during the vintage: a radical thinning out of the clusters at colour-change effectiveliy enabled the grapes to reach full phenolic maturity and especially concentrated grapes. The commemorative label for the 150^th anniversary will be available only for vintage 2008.
