INFUSION, ALLEGRINI
JOINS FORCES IN PROJECT
WITH CHEF COGO

The wines of the Allegrini group will play a leading role in the second edition of inFusion, scheduled to start on Saturday, January 26th at the One-Michelin-star-rated El Coq restaurant in Vicenza.
The idea was conceived by the chef Lorenzo Cogo, who in 2015 launched the project by surrounding himself with some of the best chefs in the world, for what was ostensibly a gastronomic 'jam session', a synthesis of food culture, research and experimentation.
The first guest in 2019 will be the Japanese Yasuhiro Fujio, formerly a sous chef at the two-Michelin starred 'La Cime' restaurant in Osaka, and winner of the third edition of the international 'S. Pellegrino Young Chef' award. Cogo will take him on a tour of the city of Vicenza and its markets, to share ideas and discover the flavours, aromas and typical produce of the territory. The chefs will also visit the 'La Vigna International Library', the largest collection of cookbooks in Italy, which will be a starting point for the creation of new dishes.
This experience will give rise to a special menu on Saturday, January 26th, composed of a signature dish by Yasuhiro Fujio, a four-handed creation, and a series of additional surprise dishes. To accompany the dishes will be Solosole Vermentino Bolgheri Doc by Poggio al Tesoro, and La Grola and Fieramonte Amarone Riserva by Allegrini. The dinner will be reserved for around 30 guests.
